How to Search for a particular file type

Many times, it may happen that you need the information to be wrapped in a specific file type, from Google.

This particularly happens when you're searching for some research work, introductory docs and so on.

You can use Google's search filter filetype:

For e.g., if you are searching for a PowerPoint presentation 

 

-          Enter your search terms followed by "filetype:PPT."

-          Similarly, for pdf'search

-          Enter your search terms followed by "filetype:PDF."
