Here is the way to hide your mobile number to others.
Timeline > About > Contact Information--click Edit button > on right of various items you can set privacy, then click 'Save' at bottom

Here is how:-
1> First what you need to do is to click on your name next to your Display Pic on the left side of the Facebook home page (above where it says "Edit Profile").
2> Now it will take you to a page where you can do all the editing in your profile. Here you should see "ABOUT" tab (next to "Timeline" & before "Photos"). Click on that "ABOUT" tab.
3> Now it will open a new "ABOUT" window where all your basic and other information will be indited. Towards the right hand side search for the tab "CONTACT INFORMATION". Under that you should be able to see your mobile number/ numbers and next to it there will be an "EDIT" box.
4> Click on that "EDIT" box and you would get a new window open which will have all the options for your e-mail addresses, phone numbers, addresses and so on. You just need to look for an option "Mobile Phones" (generally 2nd option after Emails option).
5> Just next to it you should be able to see signs like "Small globe" or a "Lock Sign" (depending upon what you chose as a privacy setting). Please click on that sign box and from here you should be able to change the privacy settings if you want to share your mobile number with Public, Friends, Only Me (yourself), Custom, Close Friends, Family or any other list you might would have created.
