How to Keep Your Desktop Clean

 On Mac, by creating a separate folder for screenshots.

Go to the Pictures folder, and create a new folder called Screenshots.

-          Open the Terminal app, copy and paste this string of code and hit enter, defaults write com.apple.screencapture location ~/Pictures/Screenshots

-          Now copy and paste this other line and press enter again

-          Kill all SystemUIServer

 

That's it. There is your clean Desktop.
