How to Split Your Desktop Screen

Aero Snap Feature: This official windows less-known feature allows you to split your desktop screen to two independent screens. (You can work independently with both the display).

Follow this three steps:

-          Drag the title bar of a window to the left or right side of the screen until an outline of the expanded window appears (as screenshot attached)

Then Release the mouse to expand the window.

-           Repeat step 1 with another window to arrange the windows side by side.

-          Just release the mouse. and you are all set.

You can work with both displays independently.

Just adjusting the size of these displays doesn't help (one display will go away as soon as you click mouse to other).

Works well across Windows Versions (Windows 7/8/10).

Alternative Method: - Press the (Win + Arrow Keys) to snap the window in the corresponding directed quadrant of the screen. (left or right)

Up and Down Keys Maximize and Minimize respectively.
